VLEs still have their place for now as a stable baseline but these new emerging and possibly transcient technologies are like riding a bunch of wild horses, jumping from one to another as they stampede through the plain. There's not time to be an expert in a single technology anymore, just jack of all or master of some perhaps?

All models of education are relevant in different contexts . Education 2.0 & 3.0 are models that require a level of cognitive and developmental sophistication and experience that allow individuals to be able to make decisions.
