[VIDEO] ISS Startrails

Do you remember 1982's "TRON"? The Plot: A computer programmer (epic: Jeff Bridges) is digitized inside the software world of a mainframe computer, where he interacts with various programs in his attempt to get back out. I always loved the Light Cycle races and the Solar Ships... In a way, the ISS is a solar ship, constantly rotating around us. A tiny white spot, as it can be seen racing over the sky from time to time, when illuminated by the sunset (and sunrise ;).

[VIDEO] Annular Solar Eclipse May 20 2012

700 pictures through a Coronado Solar Max 60 Double Stack telescope were used to make this video. The Telescope has a very narrow bandpass allowing you to see the chromosphere and not the much brighter photosphere below it. The music was composed in Abelton Live

[VIDEO] Tractor-Trailer-Sized Asteroid Zips Between Earth And Moon

A 42 foot space rock (asteroid 2012 JU) flew about 118,000 miles away from the Earth on May 13, 2012 (about half the distance from Earth to the Moon - 238,855 mi.). This time-lapsed and looped video shows the asteroid's orbit as it passes Earth.
