The Boğazköy Sphinx, which was brought to Turkey from the Berlin Pergamon Museum on July 28 after long-running talks with German officials, will go on display Nov. 26 in its home with its other counterpart that has been on display at the Istanbul Archaeology Museum

A statue measuring about 50 centimetres and closely resembling the Sphinx of Giza (Egypt) has been found in the archaeological area of Vulci (Montalto di Castro), in the Viterbo province. In the vicinity a number of painted Etruscan vases have also been found, some intact.
