We have been waiting to be able to screen cast on a Chromebook for too long! This feature is now here, without complications or having to jump through hoops to get it to work.

If you are a Chrome user, now you can create your screencasts directly in your browser using the new app Screencastify. The app is free and easy to use.
Look for the app on Chrome Web store.
This is a game changer. As we look into all we will want to do with a device for our 1:1 initiative, being able to screencast was a priority. Student being able to demonstrate mastery by teaching others a specific skill online is essential to our technology platform. This helps tip the scale a bit toward the ChromeBook side.
