Kimihiko Okada has created an Aluminum Landscape that incorporates changes in nature into the installation. This public space project, located outside at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo, is a hollow structure of a thin membrane of aluminum supported by a system of metal posts. The result is an installation resembling a shiny mountain range, on a smaller scale. The sun and the sky are reflected; rain and wind have a physical impact.
