A central feature of the Kinematics modular system is the kinetic modules that use an integrated servo motor which allows a variety of movements. Three different modules for rotational, tilt and shift motion have been implemented in two series of prototypes. Two other kinetic modules, currently in the design phase, will allow the user to realize linear motion as well as 360 ° rotations. The modular system has many further possibilities.

Anyone who has used the Prezi platform would know that creating a Prezi and uploading it to Prezi.com is easy enough, however when it comes to converting it to a YouTube video, there seems to be no native method of doing so... Via Baiba Svenca, PuertoTICs, juandoming

A new site, which will launch in early April 2012, will feature these new TED-Ed Originals as well as some powerful new learning tools.
Also, we are happy to extend an open invitation for the nomination of educators and animators and the suggestion of lesson ideas.

All schools can now use the YouTube educational video site, youtube.com/education, without having to jump over Internet filtering hurdles.
For schools that choose to opt in to the YouTube for Schools Program, YouTube will redirect Web users who go to the site straight over to youtube.com/education. On this portion of the site, all comments are disabled and the only related videos are those that can be found in the Education portal of the site.
The option has been created for parents, teachers, and administrators who fear children will be exposed to inappropriate materials on the site.
